Bakery Cheese Snack Recipe

Famous in Pernambuco culture, this cheese snack is not lacking at parties and bakeries! It is part of the childhood memories of many people from the Northeast, that's why I share with you here at TudoReceitas this bakery cheese snack recipe.

These cheese crackers are made very easily with just 3 ingredients: wheat flour, butter and cheese. Just mix these ingredients until you get a consistent dough and shape it into thin buns or balls. Read on to find out how to make cheese chips with yeasted wheat flour and give it a try!

Ingredients for making bakery cheese snacks:

 500 grams of wheat flour with yeast

 8 tablespoons of butter or margarine

 ⅓ cup of grated parmesan cheese

 1 gem to brush

How to make Bakery Cheese Snacks:

Place the wheat and grated cheese in a bowl and mix. Go putting the butter while kneading the dough with your hands, until it is consistent and loose.

Separate pieces of dough and form strips or balls as you like. Place in a pan greased with butter and sprinkled with wheat and brush each snack with the egg yolk.

Tip: Use a small spoon to brush the snacks with the egg yolk.

Place in a preheated oven at 180ºC, with heat at the top and bottom, and let it bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until the snacks are golden.
